Today started off great! My new sneakers arrived at my front door — the Adidas SOLAR HU Glide design from my favorite artist and producer, Pharrell Williams.
The shoes are amazing! I can’t wait to start my review soon.
Today, I’m also on the way to meet with Andy for my 2nd Magical Dining this year. The Boheme Restaurant in Downtown Orlando was one of my top choices. Let’s go!
The restaurant is located in the very first building on the corner.
Here’s the entrance. If you valet your car, they will lead you in from the back entrance.
The interior of the restaurant was nice and very modern. The hotel concept is like an art gallery, surrounding you with many cool art pieces.
We had a reservation for 5:45pm but they sat us 15 minutes early. The place was very busy.
They offer you the menu for Magical Dining Month, as well as their regular menu in case you want to order anything else.
Our server was very nice and friendly. The service was great. We started with appetizers. We ordered the Kessler Seafood Cake which had lobster, crab, salmon, and organic arugula with tarragon citrus aioli.
We also ordered the Escargots de Bourgogne. It was baked in garlic parsley butter served in a traditional vessel with a French baguette. This was so good compared to escargot I had at Chef de France in Epcot. The flavor was better and I loved the caramelized top.
There were 4 different Choice of entrees to choose from, making it difficult to choose because they all sounded so good. I went with the Grilled Pork Chop which had roasted heirloom carrots, dijon and shallots, pan sauce smashed fingerling potatoes with herbs and lemon salt. The meat not too dry or hard and had really great flavor and sauce.
Andy chose the Beef Tenderloin with Bohemian spice, brocolini, truffle pomme puree, and Café de Paris butter sauce. He said it was way better than kobe beef.
Thanks for sharing, Andy.
I don’t really eat a lot of sugar but for dessert, I ordered the Blueberry Mascarpone Cheesecake with fresh berries and graham cracker crust. It was delicious and the fruit was very fresh.
We also tried the Pineapple Gelato with Reposado Tequila, torn garden mint, and coconut crisp. This was also really good!
Overall, this place was amazing. From the art gallery and many art installations, to the food. I would definitely recommend walking around after you finish eating, to walk off all the delicious food, and to check out some cool art and paintings.
A little tip — for Magically Dining Month, they offer free valet and parking $8/hour. Make sure to call them before you go.
I know I’ll be back next year. It was definitely worth the money.

After setting everything up, we went on to the convention.
Here’s my 3-day badge.
We arrived super early and were ready for the opening.
My booth was all set up with my custom Spiki and Kidrobot platforms.
It was amazing meeting local friends and visitors.
This is my first Indonesia exclusive spiki — the 2nd version of lucky cat. We used glossy colors this time.
Here’s some Plastic Culture exclusive merchandise.
This was my table for custom work.
It was really challenging finding art supplies in another country so next time, I’ll probably bring my own.
I was able to share my custom paint tip, with Dewi.
Thanks to Pronto Pixel founder, Tamish Aswan, who came over to say hi!
My good friend, @kongandri.
Interview time! Thanks for translating, Josh!
Language barrier??? 😂
Thanks Grace, for making sure I had a good lunch break. 😊
The Roffie, food truck, served coffee outside of the event.
The first opening day was busy. I couldn’t wait for the second day!

I was invited to Popcon Asia as a special guest. A big thank you to Grace and Josh for making this happen!
The event also gave me a booth to display my custom spikis and 20-inch Spiki Dunny.
Plastic Culture booth.
Afterward, my friends brought me to a local, well-known sushi place called, “Sushi Masa.” Josh ordered me a super-sized oyster!
Thanks to everyone who came to join me for dinner. It meant a lot to me.
stay tuned for tomorrow for opening day

Thanks Nat and Oscar for inviting me to a place I’ve been really wanting to try — Foxtail Coffee Co.
They have some nice outdoor seating and a place for some games and activities.
I was impressed the installation inside. Nat told me that it used to be an old warehouse and that the owner remodeled it with an industrial vibe. It was very busy with a lot of students hanging out.
This location has 2 different spots where you can order drink and food.
The menu selection and price, compared to Starbucks, wasn’t that bad.
We all ended up ordering matcha lattes, each with different artwork on them. The back section is a gallery that supports local artists.
This place has a great concept, decked out with art and industrial-inspired decor.
When Andrew Zimmern tweeted about his opinion on the Orlando food scene, it made me want to support our city and local businesses. Never underestimate a place unless you’ve witnessed it yourself. Make sure to check out Foxtail Coffee Co. for their awesome coffee and installations.

This has been the most hyped up Puma shoe so far. It wasn’t easy to cop them. Unfortunately, I need to sell them for the price I paid because I ordered the wrong size.
