Bari-Uma Ramen – Jakarta , Indonesia
This new place was recommend by my friend, Joshua. The night we went, we had a special guest join us — Indra G Masribani, founder of “ToyKultur.”This ramen place is different than any other noodle place because their belief is that in order to have a tasty bowl of ramen, it must have a super rich and thick soup. Needless to say I was very excited to try this spot.
Bari-Uma Ramen also offers a happy hour menu and a great deal on combos.
This restaurant is unique. The color chopstick you choose determines what type of ramen you get — red for pork and black for chicken.
The Chicken Gyoza was really good and different from what I’ve had before
Karaage
Bari means, “Super” and Uma means, “Tasty.”Their signature dish, Bariuma, is a pork flavor shoyu soup with grilled, thick-cut chashu and extra Nori seaweed.
Chashu-Uma and extra topping. Ajitama and pork.
The ramen had so much flavor! Spiki and I plan to come back in 2016!
Location: Bariuma Ramen, City Walk Mall Sudirman Level 1 Unit 5, Jl.
KH Mas Mansyur Kavling 121, Central Jakarta

Aki Restaurant Happy Hour Review – Orlando, Florida
Aki Restaurant is one of my favorite spots since high school so as you can imagine, I’ve been to this place many, many times. Hidden in somewhat of a deserted plaza, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant itself is small with a homestyle feel. They offer a variety of dishes such as: tonkatsu, sushi, udon and friend rice, and curry. They also offer a happy hour deal so if you’re looking for a full sushi dinner, this spot will fill you up. I love starting of with a small appetizer like the Gyoza.
I highly recommend trying the “Kaisen Don.”
The happy hour menu has a variety of fresh, traditional sushi nigiri.$1 for nigiri, $2/50 per roll.
This place is warm with a friendly staff. I’ve grown up with this place so it’s very special to me. I have many fond memories of hanging out with friends and family over a dish of colorful sushi. I hope you can experience it and create some memories of your own.

J.CO Donuts – Jakarta , Indonesia
I have heard so much about J.CO Donuts and that their green tea donuts are amazing! I couldn’t wait to chow down on this sweet treat.
They offer some really cool flavor selections.
The coffee is simple and includes latte art deco.
Compared to other franchises, I like this one best because they offer Asian-inspired flavors. The quality is great and affordable.

NIPA HUT BAR & RESTAURANT – Kissimmee, Florida
Droolius and I joined up for another awesome food adventure! Shout out to Julius for sharing this great local Filipino Cuisine. I always want to support local businesses especially when they serve food is special and rare. I knew for sure that I wanted to try the Halo-Halo ice dessert.

Pig Floyds Urban Barbakoa – Orlando, Florida
I’m huge fan of BBQ so when I heard about this place from many of my friends, I knew I had to check it out. Plus, I wanted to support the owner, Thomas Ward, and taste his brand new creation. My friend, Larnna, and I went to Pig Floyds Urban Babakoa for lunch one day to see what everyone was talking about.
One of my beliefs is that the branding of a company is part of the overall experience and one of the reasons why it’s so important. Being an artist, I really pick up on the environment in addition to the the food.
Pork Belly Taco
Oakwood Smoked Brisket, Apple Fennel Slaw, and Grilled Corn On The Cob
I really enjoyed the flavors a lot and did’t need to add any extra BBQ sauce. This place is different and fresh, and definitely worth checking out.

Vivoli il Gelato / Disney Springs
As most of you already know, Downtown Disney has been renamed and is now called “Disney Springs.” They have some new and interesting restaurants that have unique cuisine and have partnered with Mickey Mouse. I’ve been wanting to visit a certain place so badly and I finally got the chance! It’s called Vivoli il Gelato and they serve authentic, hand-crafted Italian gelato which is very difficult to find locally here in Orlando.
The interior features a photo gallery of the company’s history and culture.
There were so many different flavors to choose from!
I’m a huge fan of fruit flavors so mango was my number 1 choice. It tasted so naturally delicious, without the processed sugar found in most desserts.
The employees even shared the process of making the gelato. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they hand peel and cut all the fruit, maintaining the quality and flavor.
I’m in love with this place! I highly recommend that you check this place out, especially if you’re in the area visiting Mickey and Minnie.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House – Orlando, Florida
I had a very special meeting with the VP of a Chinese arcade company, who was in town, attending the IAPPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) expo. I was honored to meet with him as well as the manger of game development.
They kindly invited me this famous steak house that I’ve always wanted to try — Ruth’s Chris Steak House!
This place was classy and elegant.
Lobster Bisque Soup
Calamari
Caesar Salad
Cowboy Ribeye — super tasty, juicy, and well-seasoned. I enjoyed every single bite.
Fresh Asparagus, Shoestring Fries, and other side selections.
The service and quality was great. If you don’t have a particular budget, then I would definitely recommend this place for dinner dates with a significant other, anniversaries, or any other special occasions.
