    Zero Degrees – Orlando, Florida

I saw a lot of posts about this place so I knew I had to check it out.

We visited the location near the Asian market by W Colonial Dr. also they have 2nd location by Florida Mall and it’s an Asian-Hispanic fusion fast food chain specializing in high quality drinks and snacks.

There is indoor and outdoor seating.

There’s also a perfect selfie spot on the wall where many people took their photo.

Zero Degrees is known for their Mangonadas. The drink comes with freshly sliced mango, topped with a bit of chili powder, and has a great salty/sweet balance.

The chili powder on top of the mango is a very popular way to eat mango in Southeast Asia.

There are so many drinks on the menu that we still want to try so we’ll definitely be back!

  • Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail

    Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail

This year Disney Springs brought a little extra magic for the holiday season.

The Christmas Tree Trail was a walk-through experience featuring some of Disney’s most popular characters on themed Christmas trees, music, falling snow, and a meet and greet with Santa.

Early check-in was definitely a must if you wanted to meet Santa.

The first tree on the trail featured all of the retail stores located inside Disney Springs.

    Pluto

    Beauty and the Beast

    The Little Mermaid

    Frozen

    Mulan

    Snow White

    The Haunted Mansion

My favorite was The Haunted Mansion tree. The detail was so cool!

    Pinocchio

    101 Dalmatians

    Cinderella

    Villains

    Dumbo

    Star Wars

    Robin Hood

    Tangled

    Peter Pan

    Santa Check-in

    The Jungle Book

    The Muppets

    Mary Poppins

    Fantasia

    Toy Story

The Christmas Tree Trail is awesome for family photos.

Disney did a great job finding a new way to create some wonderful holiday experiences. I hope they bring it back again next year!

  • Sapporo Ramen – Orlando, Florida

    Sapporo Ramen – Orlando, Florida

On Sunday, after we got finished grocery shopping, we stopped by a local ramen spot.

To my surprise, there was a line of people waiting to go in.

The menu had pictures of the special items they offer.

I ordered the Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き, o-konomi-yaki), a Japanese savory pancake, but sadly it did not compare to the ones I’ve tried before, especially when it came to size and taste.

I think they added okonomi sauce and topped it with Japanese mayonnaise, then sprinkled it with Aonori, Katsuobushi, and chopped green onions.

We also ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen. The flavor was pretty good and there was a good balance of miso and spice.

Taiyaki is one of my favorite street vendor snack foods. The inside had sweet red bean. We ate it as a dessert.

For quick ramen, that is affordable, check this spot out. I hear the weekend can get very busy so get there early.

I really enjoyed the place. The outdoor is so relaxing with great quality coffee.

We ended up coming early because of Popcon Asia. Grace helped arrange this event in association with the Kreavi team.

The event was hosted in Conclave, which was a creative space. It was amazing! So amazing that I totally forgot to take some pictures because I was too busy checking this place out.

Here, I’m wearing my new Plastic Culture x Spiki tee.

Thank you to my friend, Timmy, who came to support me.

    Johana from Kreavi.

Andi also came to the event.

    The event host.

Thank you to Yansen Kamto, the Chief Executive – KIBAR, for inviting a lot of great local talent to share their experiences.

After the main introduction, is showtime.

    Design by belief

I truly appreciate all the hard work that The Blue Studio,Hobbes Hou, Jason Cordoba Photography, and @chrrota put in to make this collaboration happen. It started as a dream and an idea that I’ve always wanted to bring to life. I was able to talk about my life, what it was like growing up in Taiwan and the U.S., and how I ventured into the world of toy making. I can’t wait for you all to see it.
