    Georgia Aquarium – Atlanta, GA

I have been arranging my trip to visit my good friends also food blogger “Droolius” in Atlanta. I have done my homework to check the city and many of the cool local spots. As well many thanks Julius and Odessa for showing me around Atlanta!

This is my first-time booking budget flight since it is a short distance to Atlanta. Spirit has round trip less than $100 for a great deal.

After arriving at the airport, we were provided with great transportation, The Marta is very affordable and easy access to the get around the city quickly!

Outside the Marta station, the city looks very clean and nice, not only that the weather is amazing!

so Julius picks me up and the first stop is Sweet Hut a super nice bakery!

Thai tea, egg tarts and bread.

I purchased a city pass package and that allows you to check few cool places. Highly recommend and is a very good deal too. The first place we went to is the Georgia Aquarium which my top distention in Atlanta.

The Georgia Aquarium is also the #1 Aquarium in the U.S.

I went to the weekdays so no line. Seem like its going be busy during weekend

love walking around see bunch cool fish

I was able to see many aquatic species, from the white dolphins to Piranhas!

For sure I enjoyed my time here and checked every spot, this place has so much to offer and make sure you bring your kid for great family outings!

  • Bye Bye Indonesia

    Bye Bye Indonesia

I spent a 2 week tour in Indonesia, from Jakarta to Surabaya to Bali. I was so happy this trip came out the way I expected. Thanks so much to my friends for coming out to support me and making this trip go so smoothly.

This year everything, was packed and busy, doing a lot of speaking events.

Traffic was so backed up all the time.

Before I left, I tried to capture everything from the city so I can remember these moments.

Thanks Josh for having me try the local ba ku ta.

It wasn’t bad at all. I really want to try the one from Singapore and Malaysia. I hear they have their own versions.

A quick home made snack from Natasha.

I really enjoy visiting Indonesia. Everyone is so friendly and the food is awesome.

Here, I’m ready for the long 20+ hr flight.

    See you next time Indonesia!

  • Love Tank in Pacific Place – Jakarta, Indonesia

Love Tank in Pacific Place – Jakarta, Indonesia

Every time I visit Jakarta, I love to stop by the mall to shop.

The mall is like a theme park, with full entertainment. Everything from a luxury restaurant to a movie theater and a kid’s playground.

The mall even comes up with creative themes for each month.

The Pacific Place is always dedicated to showcasing Indonesian artists and supporting their artwork by having their installations around the mall.

In conjunction with Bazaar Art Jakarta 2015, Mall Art featured art installations by Love Tank or The Temple by S. Teddy Darmawan. It stood high and tall at the main atrium and became the highlight of the art month.

The installation was built by stacking seven military tanks and covering them in pink lotus-shaped camouflage.

The installation used Multiplex, Resin, Metal Structure Approx. 200 x 500 x 650 cm Tanks. His work also sent out a message of love and peace through East meets West symbolism.

Artist, S. Teddy Darmawan, was born in Padang in 1970 and graduated from the Indonesia Institute of Arts, Fine Arts Department, Yogyakarta. He was an Artist in Residence in Aachen, Germany and was selected for the best five of Phillip Morris Awards 2001 (Indonesia).

I highly recommend checking out Pacific Place. It’s really amazing.

  • ARANZI CAFE JAKARTA – Jakarta , Indonesia

ARANZI CAFE JAKARTA – Jakarta , Indonesia

This is one of cutest cafés ever! Everything from the branding and the concept was on point. The cafe was actually based on Aranzi Aronzo, a company that makes cute animal characters. The coolest part is that they serve cakes that are shaped like their characters. The interior was colorful and vibrant. They also sell souvenirs for you to take home.

  • Burgers Trader – Jakarta, Indonesia

    Burgers Trader – Jakarta, Indonesia

Last year I met Chef Andry Suriaputra and Hokiardi Adhi. Both of them are bringing something new and fresh to their local food culture.I had the privilege of attending their grand opening event and was amazed by their concepts and ideas for burgers. The branding was clean and crisp. I would totally recommend that you check out this spot if you’re ever in Jakarta.

There’s a track that is used as an outdoor restaurant and similar to the food trucks we all have come to know and love in Orlando.

Chef Andry Suriaputra ready to take some orders!

I love burgers! In fact, one of my favorite burger places is Shake Shack. I wish there was one right next door to my office but maybe it’s a good thing there isn’t one — better for my weight and my pocket.

The Burger Trader was fresh and had quality ingredients. The flavor of the meat was juicy and delicious.

    IFGF – Jakarta, Indonesia

Joshua invited me to his church, IFGF. I had never been to church in Indonesia so I wanted to experience it, and attended their Sunday service.

On our way there, we stopped at Starbucks for coffee and they ended up changing my name to Tommy.

The stage looked like a concert, which was pretty impressive.

    The live music was amazing.

The service was so modern and really connected to the youth. after service we stop by the Kopi Legit for some quick meal,
